Filipino-American singer Anatalia Villaranda advances to the “Knockout Rounds” of The Voice Season 12 in the US after performing with fellow contestant Missy Robertson during the “Battle Rounds” on Monday, March 20.
Villaranda and Robertson from Team Alicia Keys both performed well with Janelle Monae’s hit “Tightrope.”
Gwen Stefani called her a “firecracker” for her energetic performance. The 16-year-old singer won over Robertson after Keys picked her as a winner.
During the blind auditions, turned all four chairs while singing Bruno Mars’ “Runaway Baby.”
Meanwhile, another Pinay Gaby Borromeo failed to advance in the next round after performing with Mark Isaiah with “Pillowtalk” by Zayn.
The Voice Season 12 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c only on NBC. The Voice is also available to watch via NBC’s official live streaming channel.
