Also serving as judges are Ne-Yo and professional Latin and ballroom dancer, choreographer and actor Derek Hough.

According to NBC, “the 10-episode season will feature 47 acts in three divisions: junior (17 years old and younger), upper (solo acts and groups no larger than four) and team (groups of five or more).”

“There are no restrictions regarding the style of dance, so there’s a little bit of everything, from ballet to ballroom to break dancing.”

In the final round, winners from the three divisions will compete for the title.

The grand winner will receive $1 million in cash. As Meredith Ahr, president of Universal Television Alternative Studio and a producer of the show, said, “Having a prize that was meaningful and life-changing was very important.”
