Genesis Espera impressed the coaches with her performance on The Voice Teens Philippines “Blind Auditions” on Saturday, May 20, 2017.
The 16-year-old young artist from Quezon City made coach Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Manalac turn their chairs for singing “Closer” by The Chainsmokers.

“I love listening to you. I turned because i believe in you,” said Sarah. “I want the versatility of your voice,” said coach Bamboo.
In the end, Espera decided to join Team Sarah.
The Voice Teens Philippines is hosted by Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga which airs on ABS-CBN every Saturday and Sunday.
