Jack Cassidy and Hunter Plake performed their own version of “Dancing On My Own” by Robyn on The Voice Season 12 “Battle Rounds,” Monday, March 28, 2017.
At the of their performance, Alicia Keys picked Cassidy as the winner while Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine pressed their buttons to try to steal Plake.
Stefani praised Cassidy for singing tenderly, and told Plake, “You have to make a record. I mean, my God.”
Levine told Cassidy he broke his heart by choosing Keys as his coach. Blake Shelton added, “I don’t know what you’re going to do, but I hope anybody that has a steal feels the same way I do right now.”
Plake chose to advance with Team Gwen.
