A mysterious creature was caught on camera in Aceh’s forest by a local motor trail community near Banda Aceh, on the northern tip of the island of Sumatra.
In the video, one of the riders suddenly fell and saw a human-like creature carrying a wooden stick that could be a hunting spear. Another rider chased the topless creature, but immediately disappeared into the middle of the forest.
Some people suspected that the mysterious creature could be a member of the mythical Mante tribe, an ethnic group who are said to be forest dwellers.
The video, uploaded by Youtube account Fredography on March 22, has gone viral and garnered more than 3 million views as of Tuesday evening.
