Anea Garcia from Dominican Republic was crowned winner of Miss Grand International 2015 held in Bangkok, Thailand on October 25, 2015.
Garcia beat other 76 candidates from all over the world. The 1st runner-up was awarded to Miss Australia while the second runner-up was Miss India.
Other winners include: Philippines Parul Shah was 3rd runner-up and Miss Thailand in 4th.
The winner will get an impressive $30,000 cash award and an apartment in Bangkok during her year of reign. She will also participate in various events related to the ‘Stop the War’ campaign at an international level.
Miss Grand International (MGI) aims to become the world’s leading international beauty contest under sponsorship from governments and organizations that will make a stand for the betterment of humanity.
