There are news circulating on social media and different pageant groups that Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI) and Stella Araneta is now holding a meeting at Novotel.
The news hinted several speculations on the dethronement or a possible switching of titles due to a passport or citizenship issue.
On Facebook, The Philippine Pageantry page posted a photo with the text: “Expect a shake-up that will break your hearts. It broke ours.”
The page refused to comment on the issue. “We will refrain from making further comment until BPCI makes an announcement,” the page commented.
No official statement from BPCI has been released. Updates will be posted below or later at the Bb. Pilipinas official Facebook page.
