Filipino club owner and eventologist Tim Yap is engaged to his boyfriend, events director Javi Martinez Pardo.
On Thursday, Yap hosted a costume party for his 40th birthday celebration and surprised his visitors with a proposal.
Yap went down on one knee and proposed to Pardo during his party on Friday. “When you have good thing you have to make it last forever. … Javi wear this ring and with all the people in the universe I want to ask you: will you be my partner for life?”
Javi said yes as the crowd cheered for the newly engaged couple.
Meanwhile, actress Lovi Poe posted a video of the proposal on Instagram captioned: “I was crying like crazy while this was happening. I’m just so blessed to have witnessed the kind of love that you both shared before this even happened.”
